James 5 Steps to Improving the Economy

James Five things to improve the economy and make it grow! Number 1.  Audit the Federal Reserve: Since it was created in 1913, it has screwed up the money system over and over again. Its the biggest cause of the Great Depression and the current economic problems the country has faced the last 6 years. Number 2. Foreign Affairs: Our first president George Washington warned us against getting too involved in foreign matters. We need to use our resources more effectively and stop trying to govern the entire world (We just simply cant afford it) Bush cutting taxes (Great) but then following up with all the military spending (Not done wisely) meant that bills had to be paid with more borrowing and printing (see reason 1) Number 3. The Welfare State: Since LBJ's Great Society, the United States has become more of an entitlement country. Under President Clinton, welfare benefits were more on a temporary basis and forced people to still try and find jobs. Now under President Obama, he has set it up to where people can spend a lifetime getting government handouts without attempting to find a job. Welfare, food stamps, and medicaid were not set up for people to abuse them. It was for those that need a little extra help or a little money for the newly unemployed as they search for a new job. Social security is suppose to be for those that paid into the system their whole life so that they have money once they retired. It is not for kids in their early 20s that just dont feel like working. Those that paid into social security are entitled to get their money but thats all! Changes to social security should be grandfathered in so people that paid into the system get their money back. Those on medicaid, welfare, and food stamps should get enough to meet their necessities and thats it! People earning paychecks should not have less for entertainment than those on welfare, food stamps, and medicaid. Number 4. Exercise and Eat Healthy: If your like me and tired of hearing about Obamacare and how the healthcare system was before that, then lets do something that will really help and be so much cheaper. People need to start exercising and eating healthier. Does that mean that everyone needs to spend 3 hours a day at the gym and never eat pizza or a warm chocolate chip cookie? NO!! It just means that a 30 minute walk everyday or every other day and including fruits, veggies, and lean meat into your diet will go a long way towards decreasing obesity in this country. That alone would drop healthcare costs dramatically! Number 5. States Rights: The Federal government needs to stop controlling and running everything in peoples lives. More power needs to be in the states hands! States understand better how to run themselves than the fed government. It would help with growth in each state and in turn would grow the country!

With these five steps, the government will decrease in size, spending will be cut, jobs will open up, welfare will decrease, healthcare cost will decrease, and all this will happen without raising anyones taxes!
